I cannot believe Kanye West would stoop to such a low level as to demean Taylor Swift's hard work. He is suppose to be someone that younger artists respect and he is carrying on like an idiot in front of the entire nation. That really turned me off by him as an artist and human being. It is definitely ok to be dissappointed that someone that you would have liked to win did not win, but by no standards is it ok to belittle someone else's hardwork.

Taylor Swift was previously blogging about how excited she was to even be a nominee at the VMA's. She even went as far as to tell her dad the news and cry. She is a developing artist that makes great music. She has definitely worked hard to make her way into the hearts of millions of fans all over the globe. Kanye West has clearly forgotten that we call the shots here, and by WE...I mean..."the fans". I don't know what high horse he rode in on, but clearly the fans liked Taylor's video better than any of the other nominees. I am knocking any of the other artists, but bottom line is that Taylor won. It seems that the other artists were taking it just fine...Kanye must have felt something none of them felt!

Everyone has shown blattant disrespect for Kanye after pulling a stunt like that. I am sure this little stunt is going to cost him a bit of fan base and respect from anyone but idiots. Beyonce was definitely not impressed. The blogs and Twitter (@tmac_9127) have been ringing constantly with tweets about how disgusted people are with Kanye's behavior. I hope he sobers up tomorrow for all the rants he is going to get from Taylor Swift's friends and family and his PREVIOUS-fans. Somehow Kanye's idea of the good life doesn't seem so good.

THE KANYE APOLOGY!

Apparently Kanye was very apologetic the next morning. It appears he came to a newfound realization that his mother would not have approved of his method of expressing his dissapointment that Beyonce did not win "Best Female Video". Kanye clearly still has a lot of growing up to do. Let's hope for our sake that it is before the next MTV VMA show. This image of his apology to Taylor, his mom, and his fans was grabbed from his blog before he removed it later. Apparently his iamge consultant must have alerted him to how that added fuel to the fire. My prayers are with Kanye for all he has endured with losing his mother, but the public doesn't seem to be so forgiving of celebrities acting out. Pray about things Kanye and pull yourself together.

MTV watched West’s blog, screen grabbed the apology, and created a jpg image of it. Thereafter, the apology screen grab was all over press. But by Monday morning, the apology was off Kanye’s blog. Why?
Kanye’s ALL CAPS apology has West blogging:
“I spoke to her mother right after and she said the same thing my mother would’ve said,” Kanye wrote in his explanation for interrupting Swift’s VMA win.
“…. I’m sooooo sorry to Taylor Swift and her fans and her mom,” West wrote. He also took a moment to praise Swift, and wrote that he likes “the lyrics about being a cheerleader and she’s in the bleachers….
“I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment!” He added that Beyoncé’s video remains

Get Your Netflix Fix on Google Chrome

As you all may very well know if you are avid Netflix watchers and huge supporters of the open-source browser Google Chrome, the two just aren't playing nice together. The Netflix library is constantly expanding as the company's customer base continues to grow. Netflix is in a great spot at the top of the online movie rental pyramid. Netflix has expanded with its awesome movie selection, watch instantly feature, and extensions through media devices such as Microsoft's XBOX 360. Netflix seems to be pulling way ahead of the pack with its huge selection of movies and wide range of compatibility with all sorts of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and media extenders. Things seem to be going all to well for the online movie king...that is...until the emergence of Google Chrome.

Google Chrome emerged amongst the titans of web browers on December 11, 2008 promising faster speeds, better security, a more user-friendly interface, and more stability than any other browser on the market. Google delivered all too well on its promises. The Google Chrome web browser has done away with all the clutter of other top competing browsers and is straight and to the point. With an increase in netbook usage over the years, the small yet powerful GUI of Google has proven to be pleasing to eye and less of a resource hog than its competitors. Seeing that I use Google Chrome on my Acer Aspire One netbook, I can honestly say I have not encountered any regularly used sites that I have not been able to access...that was until I decided to finish a Netflix movie I started on my XBOX 360.

I was greeted by the pleasant image you see above...I say this with huge amounts of sarcasm. The Google Chrome web browser was not compatible (and still is not) with the Netflix Watch Instantly feature. I tried everything before finally giving in to the results research had clearly stated, "Netflix is incompatible with Google Chrome." I did not want to install another web browser just for watching Netflix movies online so I decided to do a little MORE research. That is when I discovered that a cute little work around could fix my incompatibility issue and have me watching Netflix movies online in no time. If you are stuck on Google Chrome and still want to watch your Netflix movies, follow the instructions below (to the T) and you should be watching isntantly in no time.



WATCH NETFLIX INSTANTLY USING GOOGLE CHROME

1. Close the Google Chrome Program

2. Right-Click on the Google Chrome Shortcut Icon

3. Click on Properties

4. Place the Cursor at the Very End of What is Shown in the Target Box

5. Tap the "SPACEBAR" one time

6. Now Copy This and Paste It after the space --user-agent="Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.0.7) Gecko/2009021910 Firefox/3.0.7"

7. Click Apply

8. Click OK

9. Double-Click the Google Chrome Shortcut Icon to Launch the Chrome Web Browser

10. Go to: www.netflix.com

11. Login to Your Netflix Account

12. Click on the Watch Instantly Tab

13. Watch Your Netflix Movies


**If you run into issues on other websites just return to the TARGET section of the Shortcut Icon from STEP 2 and erase the useragent that we paste from STEP 6**

Child...Going Once, Going Twice, SOLD?!

Using your child for leverage....come on now?!

This is definitely and ode to those triflent mothers and fathers who exist for the sole purpose of exploiting their children for their own personal or emotional gain. Just when you think people in the world today couldn't stoop any lower...no really...we didn't think that did we; they shock you with their endless realm of stupidity and selfishness. Forget the whole master plan of having a child to love him/her and raise them in the way they should go! For some people, kids are their next best shot at collateral. Well, we definitely see you guys and please understand your triflentness is dually noted.

Mothers and fathers alike put on this flaky mask of parental excellence when in the lime light and after the curtains drop their kids become the next poker chip. My heart sincerely goes out to the fathers and mothers who are unfortunate enough to have a insignificant other who does this and has to deal with it until the child reaches adulthood. The methods range from gold digging to using the poor kid to keep the other person single. We all know how new dates just love baby momma or baby daddy drama...NOT! I have seen women and men...yes, as strange as it sounds...MEN, withhold visitation until they get exactly what they want. It really breaks your heart to know that sometimes all they want is the other mother or father to be miserable for as long as they can make them. They assume the poor kids are too young to realize what is going on, but the idiots just don't know their too dumb to realize the kids are usually smarter than them. That means the little genius is just filled with anguish over what is going on until they reach the age of rebellion, violence, or other means of lashing out.

If you are one of those parents, my only advice is, GROW UP AND HAVE A HYSTERECTOMY OR VASECTOMY! You have absolutely no business with a child. You don't even need a puppy. You need something more along the lines of therapy. Kids are extensions of self, and I know you don't treat yourself like that, and if you do...again I say THERAPY. If you are friends of people like this, stop saying you are trying to mind your own business and get the nuts to save a child. Mental abuse like this goes deeper than physical abuse. We all know that some people can break your spirit without putting a hand on you. We need to stop allowing these kids' spirits to be broken and do something. I hope that this message has reached the hearts and minds of everyone who may not know someone like that, who may know someone like that, and most importantly...who may actually be someone like that.

Et tu, Rihanna?

We have heard it all this past week when it comes to Chris Brown and the alleged beating of girlfriend, and R&B diva, Rihanna. It is very hard for most rational people to speak on the topic because it touches a sensitive area that no one wants to speak on; domestic abuse. Well I'm not famous, I'm tired of hearing ignorant people speak on the subject, and I think it's about time society faced the music on domestic abuse. It has just been insane how things have played out for Chris Brown. I hope Rihanna is ok, but snapping pictures of famous people does not change what goes on in society or in their case, what is covered up in society.

When it comes down to African American culture today, there are different definitions of domestic abuse in a relationship. I don't know what people have been telling paparazzi, but there are some females that can and will kick a man's ass if he just sits there and let's it happen. Usually if he sits there and takes it or runs away the respect is out the window from that point. That is just a sad fact about a majority African American females being raised in today's society. There are just some myths that need to be cleared up and one of them is that ALL MEN CAN FIGHT. With the way things have changed in society, African Americans have a slightly different view about hitting females. Most African American men would not beat a girl to death, but they would definitely slap the hell out of them or shake them up a bit to get their point across.

An example of my point came while watching Tyler Perry's recent film, "A Family that Prey's." After one of the male characters found out his wife had been cheating on him, the child he had raised was not his, and she continued to bad mouth him and build on the anger...he slapped her over the counter! The weird thing was that no gasps of outrage came from the audience; however, applause rang throughout the theater. I think people would find it surprising if they polled how many people think women should get whacked when they deserve it. I know it sounds bad, but I think some women do deserve it and hide behind the old act of chivary by unknowing men.

No one is sure of what happened between Chris and Rihanna, but the real truth is that there is a slight posibility that she may have deserved to get the beat down she received. There were rumors that she gave Chris herpes. Many people are defending Rihanna by saying Chris should have worn a condom. Come on people! Rihanna and Chris have been dating for a while. Chris Brown looks like the gullible type that would be with a girl for a long time and trust her eventually and stop using a condom. What is wrong with people to think it is something wrong with that?! What happened to the age of sexual responsibility that felt all partners should be totally honest with one another?! It's like we fix one problem by providing condoms and people think that relinquishes them from common decency and morality. That is one reason we have totally innocent married people who were tested before marriage ending up with AIDS. This is not a prick on the finger! STD's are serious, and a person that treats something that could possibly be life threatening with little regard, might need to have their ass kicked! If that rumor has any truth to it, I will be the first to bite any bullets and say she deserved to get beat up. Any other female would have known not to play those types of games in fear of what actually did happen. Rihanna must have forgotten or thought fame made her exempt. You can not provoke these men and think chivalry will save you. If you cannot be 100% faithful and honest with your partner, it is in your best interest to move on or be smart and not flaunt it in his face after the fact.

I just hope Chris and Rihanna are given the opportunity to sort things out for themselves. Relationships are hard and fame doesn't make it any easier. They love each other and from what friends say, an occasional screaming match or fight is not out of the ordinary for them...and guess what...neither is it for maybe 90% of people who are blabbing at the mouth about how outraged they are. When you get pass the dream world, people who love you might actually beat the crap out of you sometime if you push it that far. I guess love standing the test of time and time healing all wounds compliment one another when it comes to relationships. Love may beat the crap out of you mentally and sometimes physically, buy if it is real love, that same person puts in the time to heal those wounds. I hope we all step back a while and let Chris and Rihanna figure out if they have the love and the time.
