When the Living "THE LIFE" Can Almost End It
So many people that are followers of Shad Moss aka "Bow Wow" may have come across his tweets on November 6th contemplating how peaceful his life would be if he ended it all. He didn't actually say he was going to kill himself but we all still recognize his words as a cry for help. He even went on to say that he would trade his fame and fortune in for a normal life; maybe even hit the books and go back to school.
These are all obvious signs of kids getting into the industry too young and as a result, later wishing for a life they clearly know nothing about. I don't think normal would bring you any more peace than you have now Shad because you wouldn't know what normal is. You have been a star since you were 13 years old, normal is not a luxury you can afford at this point. It is sad for the youth in the entertainment business because they clearly have been deprived of the lessons "going without" can teach about life. You have to find a inner peace that no one can touch. Plenty of dead kids without the riches, whom have taken their own lives, can attest to troubles finding you no matter how many zeros rest in your bank account.
I am not one to pass judgement on anyone so my prayers are extended to the young man. As words of wisdom, when you feel pressure setting in, just step away from the worldly things and retreat in quiet meditation. Don't tweet about it because I am sure some of the remarks I have seen could possibly depress you even more. Notice the silence of your true friends and family and seek their love and guidance. As for the normal life; trust me..it's never going anywhere. You can always drop everything for a while and go to school and focus on something besides rapping and acting. It doesn't mean you're not good at that stuff; it just means you are good at other things too. I would actually like to see you give the hooping and school a shot!
